People came in their hundreds to sit in the ‘Forest of Praise’

“Another great week for our town to come together in prayer. We prayed that the Burgess Hill 24-7 Prayer Room through Holy Week would be like a magnet, drawing people into God’s presence in a powerful way, and it was! People came in their hundreds to sit in the ‘Forest of Praise,’ kneel by the cross, paint on the wailing wall, lay upstairs in the throne room and sit in God’s ‘Living Room’ being blessed by the Father’s heart and so much more.

955 visits to the prayer room later there were stories of overwhelming encounters with Jesus in the power of the spirit at three am in the morning. If you haven’t ever experienced a 24-7 Prayer Room, you must! Partly because they become intoxicating tabernacles where God moves and does remarkable stuff in individual lives, but mostly because the prayer room isn’t an end, it’s a beginning.

“Our 24-7 Prayer Room has galvanised and recommitted us to work for the kingdom as one people in our town, going for mission in Jesus name even when it’s tough. Jesus never promised it would be, just that he would be with us always.”
